Delamain Pale and Dry XO Cognac 50cl
Delamain Pale and Dry XO Cognac
Established in 1759, Delamain’s simple objective is to remain faithful to tradition by offering Cognacs of the purest and most genuine expression. Aged for an average of 25 years, Pale and Dry is a unique blend of Cognacs that showcase the Delamain style and is produced exclusively from eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, the first cognac growth.
Remarkably delicate and elegant, each of the Cognacs have been aged separately during an average of 25 years using well-seasoned Limousin oak, then joined together (or married) for a further two years, to create a stunning and cohesive cognac that has a light shade of amber and flecks of gold throughout.
The bouquet is complex with powerful and intense floral aromas, along with notes of vanilla. It’s mellow and round on the palate evolving into full-bodied fruit flavours with hints of liquorice. An excellent partner to chocolate desserts or serve on its own as a digestif.
"Pale" because it is much paler than other cognacs of this age due to the natural pale colour of the cognacs used in the blend which are all matured in old casks and "Dry" because it has only its natural sweetness.
