Bruichladdich Octomore 14.2 Single Malt Whisky 70cl
Bruichladdich Octomore 14.2 Single Malt Whisky
There are an extensive collection of over 200 cask types residing in the Bruichladdich distillery's warehouses. Head Distiller Adam Hannett has carefully chosen casks that previously cradled Oloroso and Amarone wines. The unique interplay of sweetness and nuttiness resulting from this combination yields an exceptional single malt.
Originating from the wine regions of Spain and Italy. The spirits are harmoniously united within French oak casks, infusing the single malt with remarkable depth and complexity. Octomore's iconic peat smoke harmoniously complements the Oloroso sherry casks, infusing the final spirit with a robust, savoury flavour intensified by the wood's influence.
The Amarone casks, too, wield a significant impact, imparting luscious red fruit notes that lend structure and cohesion to the 14.2 expression.
